My rescue rat is sick, not eating, and can't move. What should I do?

I have a rescue rathe age is unknown, she is eating hardly and not drinking. She has lost use of her limbs. What can I do?

Hi, I'm sorry to hear Blue isn't doing well. There can be many things wrong with her, but there is nothing you can do by yourself. You can try to offer her good tasting and smelling foods, because rats need to eat. If she is not eating, this is a reason to go to the vet. Because her back legs are not working, she may not be able to go to the bathroom. If you want to try to save her, she needs to see a vet as soon as possible. When rats get sick, they often hide it until it is very serious. The best thing to do is to take her for veterinary attention. Good luck!
