My 8-month-old dog has diarrhea for 7 days, vet unconcerned. Help!

My dog is about 8 months and he's been having loose stool right after eating and diarrhea all the other times. He was on a rice and chicken diet for a while but didn't work, we use Taste of The Wild food and he's never had a problem before. Vet didn't seem concerned but it's been about 7 days and I feel bad for him. He eats and drinks just fine. Just the daily diarrhea... Help! At this pint, if your vet has not prescribed antibiotic yet, it wuld be a good time to start as he is probably suffering from a gastrointestinal infection. Until you can take him to the vet you may give him an anti diarrhea paste such as Pro-Kolin.
