Updated On September 23rd, 2025

My cat 3 months ago had a urinary disease, and my vet give me the cure. After 1 week he got better.2 weeks ago he had again this problem so I done the same cure. The blood in urine was disappeared but he couldn't urinate. So my vet put him the catheter and Elizabethan collar but after 4 hours he destroyed them.So I went to vet that said that she couldn't do again anaesthetic after just 10 hours. So now im doing the same cure and give him an antihemorrhagic but he continue to urine a lot of blood..

This is quite concerning and further investigations including an ultrasound exam of the kidneys and bladder, testing of the urine and x-rays for the presence of stones may be needed if the condition does not start to improve. You do not mention what you are treating him with so it is impossible to advise on any additional measures which may help
