Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | spayed | 60 lbs
I think my dog has vestibular she has been walked on the beach and as we was getting to the car she started to walk funny and her eyes are flickering left and right she has lost her appetite and will not drink. Will this just go on its own ? She is 9 years and 4 months old and gas had both ear canals removed 2 years ago.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Dottie! Yes, if she has idiopathic old dog vestibular it tends to resolve on it's own with in 2 weeks. The head tilt can be permanent. But they tend to be very dizzy and nauseous. I recommend a vet exam so we can be sure it is peripheral and not central vestibular disease and so medications can be prescribed to relieve her nausea. I hope this helps and I wish Dottie the very best!
