Pet's info: Dog | Chihuahua | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 20 days old | 5.3 lbs
I have a Chihuahua that was out going and playful then she started to help and scream one morning and I'm not sure what happened to her because I was sleeping but now every time I go near her she acts like she's in pain or scared of me but I can't really tell what's going on with her. She shakes constantly as well. Do you know what could be wrong?

Aww, I’m sorry to hear about Sissy! I see this commonly with either pain or anxiety. These little guys can easily injure their backs and such which causes them to anticipate pain and yelp or avoid your petting. You may also notice Sissy avoiding the dog door or refusing to jump on beds/couches as she normally does. I recommend taking her in for a good physical exam to see if this might be the case. Hope this helps and best of luck to you and Sissy!
