These birds should be fed a variety of different fruits, vegetables, seeds and nuts. They can also have cooked rice, daal, or oats. It's best to feed mostly fruits and vegetables with only 10% of the diet as fruits and nuts. Biscuits, roti or other bread should not be fed often; These should only be fed as an occasional treat. The only fruit to avoid feeding is avocados -- these can be toxic. Feeding a variety of different foods is important; especially at a young age. The more variety you feed, the better you will be able to ensure he gets adequate nutrition.
