Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 8 months and 15 days old
This cat is 8 months old.I aopted her today.on her lower part of stomach there is a big lump which I asked about it from her previous owner and she said it's because of her spaying surgery that they cut muscle.she licks it alot.I don't know when they spayed her.I looked closely and saw that it isn't the place of her spaying surgery.but it is near her stitched.there is also a scar on the middle of this lump.what is it?also have another cat at home.can it be something contagious?

That looks like an infected wound to me. The picture is hard to tell if it is at the spay site or not. She should definitely see a veterinarian as she likely needs antibiotics. I think it is unlikely to be contagious but that is not something I can answer for sure from a picture. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
