Why did my puppy get sick and stop eating after a food change?

I had a puppy that was healthy,but after I gave her puppy chow she got sick and stop eating. What caused this? Pet's info: Dog | Jack Russell Terrier | Female | unspayed | 3 months old

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. This could be dietary indiscretion causing the vomiting. Due to the food switch. I would recommend withholding food for at least 8 hours and then initiate a bland diet of chicken and rice amd feed this at least 3 days beyond the resolution of the vomiting. If there is no improvement or she worsens, I would have her examined by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I would have her tested for parvo and also check her blood values to see if she has any abnormal blood values.
