What to do if my dog's eye is shut with mucus and the other is red?

Please help me.. Today i seen my dog and she can't open her right eye... it's shut closed with eye mucus and the other eye is red....

Poor Tripsy. That eye looks very painful. I would recommend having your veterinarian examine her eye and do a special stain to evaluate for a scratch or ulcer. I am attaching a link to a handout below on corneal ulceration. https://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=554 A corneal ulceration can worsen quickly, so I would recommend having your veterinarian evaluate Tripsy's eye ASAP. If she does not have a scratch or ulcer, she may have an infection of the tissue around the eye (conjunctivitis), and your veterinarian can prescribe a medication to treat that. Good luck!
