How to get rid of my dog's stubborn tear stains that keep returning?

Hello, my Lilly has tear stains, I tried a couple of things before and I asked vet too. She got sick about a year ago and received antibiotics for a day, her stains disappeared after that; however I went on vacation for 3 weeks and my husband didn't clean properly her ceramic water bowl during that time, so she got her stains back untill now. Suggestions please ? Thanks. Pet's info: Dog | Toy Poodle | Female | spayed | 4 years and 8 months old | 6 lbs

You can try distilled water or see about adding angel eyes to her diet as this helps. If these do not fix it, you can see your vet needs to prescribe another round of antibiotics to help. Once the hair is stained, the new hair generally has to grow out before it all disappears though
