How to stop my puppy from eating his poop after pooping on the floor?

What can I do to get my puppy Preston to stop eating his poop? He Deliberately poops on the floor instead of his pee, pad and the starts to pick eat at at it

He is adorable! Thank you for including pictures! I have a few ideas for you. I am including a handout below on eating feces which may also give you some ideas. https://www.veterinarypartner.com/Content.plx?P=A&S=0&C=0&A=1613 First, make sure you never punish him for going on the floor. That can teach dogs to try to get rid of their feces (by eating them) before you find them. I would also consider teaching him to go outside instead of only on a pee pad. Often puppies do a better job if they can poop and pee in different locations. Finally, you can use a food additive like For-Bid (http://www.for-bid.com/) short term to change the taste of his feces to help discourage him from eating them. Good luck! I hope that was helpful.
