My dog peed blood and isn't drinking. Is it a UTI? Home remedies?

I just noticed my dog peed an a lil blood was in it and she hasnt been drinking enough water i dont have enough money to take her to the vet is it posibly a uti if so can i treat it at home she os not in pain she is playfull and eating

Hello, and thank you for your question. Blood in the urine can be indicative of a UTI, urinary crystals, or urinary stones. Since Nina is unspayed, it may also be related to an infection of her uterus. I would recommend taking her to the vet if her symptoms continue over the next 24 hours. If she exhibits pain when urinating, or if she becomes lethargic or disinterested in food, I would get her to the vet asap. In the meantime, try to keep her well hydrated. This will allow her to pee more often and in turn help to flush out bacteria and crystals from her bladder. You can try mixing some water in with her kibble or canned food if she is not interested in drinking. I would also take her out more often to pee, again to help flush out her bladder. I hope this helps, and that Nina is feeling better soon.
