Hello, my friends pet rat is acting very uncoordinated and fatigued.... he isn’t eating much and seems dehydrated.. he’s exhausting rather quickly, and has diahrea. Also when walking he seems to sprawl his legs in more of a crawl. Do you have any ideas how I can help him or should we see to professional care? Thank you.

These symptoms really concern me. Heart disease, respiratory infections, cancer, and neurological problems are all possible causes of his symptoms. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by a veterinarian soon as these problems have the potential of being life threatening. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
