My cat has a lump on her upper lip, but it doesn't hurt. What is it?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 18 lbs

My 9 year old cat has a lump or growth on her upper lip. It does not appear to cause her discomfort, even when touched, and it has not slowed down her eating. Do you have any ideas what it might be?

She may have gotten bitten or stung by something and it is forming a small reaction and inflammation. It may be the start of a tumor and skin growth. If it does not go way over the next few days then I would have your vet check it see if it needs surgery or antibiotics
