Check his crop for delayed emptying or impaction. Either may affect his appetite. Continue to offer feedings and monitor his weight closely. If he begins to lose weight and is refusing food, have him examined by your veterinarian or an experienced avian vet to diagnose illness or injury.

Make sure he or is warm. A chilled chick will not be active. Next, check the crop to make sure it is emptying properly after each feeding. A full crop can go "sour" which can cause illness. If symptoms persist, consider an exam with your veterinarian or an experienced avian veterinarian.
