My puppy has a bloated stomach but is playful. Should I see a vet?

I am very concerned I’m scared my new lab puppy has a bloated stomach but she is not throwing up and her poop does not have any sign of worms. She seems to be playful still and eating normally? But I’m concerned it could be gas or air I’ve been looking all around on google to know if it’s normal or to take her to the vet as soon as possible !! Please I’d highly appreciate a response

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! A large belly in a puppy is not unusual and while sometimes this could be indicative of parasites, it does not have to be that necessarily. I think though that the possibility of this warrants a visit to your veterinarian to check for that. It is also a good idea to have your new pup evaluated by your veterinarian so that she can start on a preventative care plan including treating for parasites. Good luck and have a great day!
