Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 10 lbs
My cat usually has an allergy in her right eye. All of a sudden a sore appeared under the right eye... I think she scratches it... I don’t know what it could be, or how to treat it?

It looks like it could be caused by a self inflected injury but the itch could be caused by an underlying mild to moderate conjunctivitis, probably secondary to a trauma or infection. A check up would be needed as appropriate treatment would include antibiotics and anti-inflammatory eye drops. Corneal injuries must be ruled out as well. Antiinflammatory and antibiotics drops for the eyes can be applied on that little spot of skin as well. A buster collar could avoid further scratching and be quite useful.
