Pet's info: Dog | Rottweiler | Male | neutered | 1 year and 5 months old | 105 lbs
Hi i have a year and a half old german rottweiler that had giardia and now is over it but for the last couple months even during giardia had puked late at night or late in the day. The vet said he was clear of giardia but we never got a answer on vomiting so we switched foods and he still does it

When I have a dog that is vomiting during a particular time of time, I always evaluate the feeding schedule and what the dog is vomiting. Often, dogs will vomit water or bile when their stomachs are empty and they are nauseated. The solution may involve more frequent feeding or sometimes anti-nausea medications. Your vet may not be able to give you a definite answer about why Zeus is vomiting, but I would certainly ask them about an anti-nausea medation (such as Pepcid) to see if that helps decrease the vomiting. Good luck! I hope that was helpful. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
