Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed
My 4 year old Cat has started displaying the inner third eyelid occasionally, over the last month or so, when didn’t previously. She has also started passing wind which is unpleasant. We changed her food which helped but hasn’t solved the wind issue. She still eats, plays, sleeps as usual. Stools seem normal but she rarely goes indoors so I can’t be sure. I just can’t decide if she’s ill or not!

If her symptoms are enough for you to be concerned, it's worth getting her checked. You may be seeing early signs of a medical condition and it's always best to catch such things early before it gets out of hand. The third eyelid coming up could be a sign of a mild or oncoming eye infection or even an underlying malaise that hasn't show any other signs yet.
