Why is my old dog suddenly having accidents and always hungry/thirsty?

I have an 11 yr old mixed breed dog that has all of a sudden started eliminating in the house!!! He asks for water and food constantly and will sit there and stair and moan if he doesn't get it!! I am so confused, what am I suppose to do? He looks good, eyes are happy looking but all he wants to do is eat and drink!! Do you have any idea what might be going on?? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 11 years and 5 months old | 26 lbs

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! I recommend taking Lil Bit to a vet for an exam. They will likely recommend blood work and a urinalysis to rule out a urinary tract infection, kidney disease, or diabetes. Once a diagnosis is made, they should be able to get him a treatment plan.
