My dog has diarrhea and won't eat. Could eating toys be the cause?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | 3 years old | 16 lbs

Hello, my dog has been having non stop diarrhea.. I wake up to see my floor dirty with her diarrhea and she won't really eat. I have another dog that has a specific bowl. The one with diarrhea is used to eating from it but my other dog is staying with my aunt at the moment. She also has a few plush toys and blankets which she usually rips it apart and eat bits. She's been doing since she was a baby (4 years ago). She's had diarrhea for a few days. She also eats bits of my food since always..

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. I would recommend initiating a bland diet of chicken and rice and feed this at least 3 days passed the resolution of the diarrhea. I would also consider adding in a probiotic such as Purina fortiflora which can be found easily online or at your local pet store. If the diarrhea continues or worsens then I would recommend having a veterinarian examine her so that the most appropriate Diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps! Please feel free to contact me with any other questions or concerns that you may have and I would be more than happy to help you further.
