New puppy not peeing/pooping, lazy, hiding after adoption. Is this normal?

I adopted a 4 month old Great Dane puppy about 24 hours ago. She has yet to pee or poop. And is extremely lazy and tries to hide 24/7. Pet's info: Dog | Great Dane | Female | unspayed | 5 months and 3 days old | 55 lbs

Hello. This could just be a normal reaction to a new situation for Penny. Her whole world has changed, & she just needs time to adjust. Just to be sure, please have her examined by your veterinarian in the next day or so. Stress can lower the immune system, & just make Penny feel lousy, & if she is incubating something, an infection or parasites, getting to things quickly will make sure she becomes a healthy, happy, bouncy puppy. Take care.
