Parrot losing feathers on neck: Is it stress, mites, or serious?

I have a parrot with a growing bald patch on the back of her neck what could cause this is it serious or could it just be stress as she has had smaller ones in the past ? Pet's info: Exotic | Unknown - Exotic | Female

Other possible causes can include parasites such as mites on the skin (which can cause itching, redness and flaking of the skin), infections, or and underlying issue such as illness or nutritional deficiency. Checking for any wounds, redness, parasites, etc and making sure she's on a balanced diet can help alert you to any problems. If you do suspect one, or trying to fix the issue on your own doesn't work, scheduling a vet checkup is always a good idea.
