My old, blind bunny is crying with eye discharge. What can I do?

My bunny is crying a lot. She is also blind. What can I do to help her? She is very old.

By crying I assume you mean she is having a lot of eye discharge. If it is clear or slightly grey then sometimes just rinsing her eyes with an isotonic saline eye wash from Any human pharmacy can be helpful. However, if the discharge is yellow, green, or really thick then I would encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian soon. If this is going on then she may have an infection and will need antibiotics. Best of luck and I hope she improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
