My puppy is peeing in the house with spotty urine. Is it a UTI?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 4 months and 4 days old | 40.8 lbs

My 17 week old German Shepherd has recently started peeing in the house and leaves a long trail of spotty urine behind him. He usually urinates outside everytime he is taken outside but now it seems like hes having some trouble. Could this be a uti?

Poor Buster! This definitely could be a UTI. I would have your vet take a look at him. your vet will be able to do a urinalysis and start him on antibiotics if needed. If there isn’t an infection, it could be a lapse in his training. It isn’t uncommon for them to have a little lapse after they become house trained. It is usually due to a change in routine and a little laxity in the routine and training. I just recommend to get more strict again on the training and routine like you were in the beginning. I hope this helps!
