Why is my dog tilting his head, shaking, and has ear swelling?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 6 years old | 80 lbs

My pet is tilting his head towards right side and shaking his head there is swelling in his right ear. Why is it so ??I am worried??is something serious??

I suspect Bruno may have an ear infection. If the swelling you notice is on the ear flap then the most common problem is an aural hematoma, or bleeding into the ear flap. This usually requires medication to resolve the infection as well as medications to help decrease the swelling. Often pain medications are needed as Well. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian as soon as possible. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
