Why is my dog tilting his head, shaking, and has ear swelling?

My pet is tilting his head towards right side and shaking his head there is swelling in his right ear. Why is it so ??I am worried??is something serious?? Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 6 years old | 80 lbs

I suspect Bruno may have an ear infection. If the swelling you notice is on the ear flap then the most common problem is an aural hematoma, or bleeding into the ear flap. This usually requires medication to resolve the infection as well as medications to help decrease the swelling. Often pain medications are needed as Well.
