My dog won't stop barking at everything. What can I do to quiet her?

How do I get her to stop barking so much? If she hears something outside she barks until it’s gone. If someone knocks on the door & comes in she barks, if it’s someone she doesn’t know she barks until they leave. She doesn’t listen when she’s told to quiet down & will literally continue to either bark or whine nonstop. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 8 years and 11 months old | 4 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. I would recommend using a spray bottle with water and spritzing her in the face and say "quiet!" Whike doing this. You can also use an empty can filled with coins and throw it nearby her to startle her while saying "quiet". You can also look into citronella collars, which can be found online quite easily or at your local pet store. I hope this helps!
