I rescued him and they said he had a bite from another dog but never looked like a bite he keeps rubbing off scabs. Pet's info: Dog | Rat Terrier | Male | neutered | 8 lbs

Oh poor panda! This looks like a serious wound that is really infected. Unfortunately i do not think it is going to heal on its own. I would have your vet take a look at it. Your vet will be able to properly clean it, see if he needs stitches, and get him started on some oral antibiotics. You can put a cone collar on him to prevent him from rubbing at his face and pulling scabs off. I hope this helps!
