Pet's info: Cat | Sphynx | Female | spayed | 1.5 lbs
I have a new sphynx kitten. On her flight here she had a bowel movement so I had to wash her off when she arrived. She has stitches that can’t get wet, so I washed her with dish liquid and wet paper towels. Her breeder recommends using dawn but I didn’t have any so i used gain. She is now covered in red bumps. Could it be from the soap or something else? What can I do to provide her relief? They don’t seem to bother her but habe gotten worse over the 2 days I have had her and around her eyes it.

I would recommend just rinsing her again extensively. I would also encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian soon. This may be a skin infection and she may need antibiotics. If it is just inflammation the veterinarian can her her some medication to calm it down as well. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
