What are these scabs on my new stray cat's ear and neck?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | 10 lbs

We had a stray cat show up and have decided to keep her she had a spot on her ear that was scabbed up that broke open and I found one behind her neck about the size of a dime what could that be?

If she has been outdoors then most likely they are cat fight wounds or abscesses. However, other things like ringworm or bacterial skin infections are possible too. I would encourage you to have her evaluated by a veterinarian soon. She may need antibiotics, and she should be tested for infectious/ contagious diseases and be started on vaccinations.
