My puppy still has roundworms after deworming. Is another dose safe?

I have a puppy who is 6 weeks old today. He was wormed at 4 and a half weeks for round worms. I gave him 2ml because his weight is under 10 pounds and the highest dose is 5ml of nemex. He still is passing a significant amount of round worms. My question is would another 2 or 3 mls harm him since its been a week and a half?

Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Roundworms do take multiple doses of dewormer usually given every 2-3 weeks but it is a safe medication to give sooner. It is usually given 0.1mL per pound (so 0.5mL for 5 lbs). Kisses to Powder!
