My dog has a sore near her anus. Is it serious enough for a vet?

Pet's info: Dog | Pug | Female | 9 years and 4 months old | 21 lbs

Pug has sore near anus. Not sure what caused it. Cleaned & placed antibacterial cream. Should she go to the vet?

It looks like this may be a ruptured anal sac abscess. A warm compress to the area can help with comfort. I would definitely encourage you to have her evaluated by your veterinarian as these require antibiotics and sometimes manual removal of anal sac material to heal.
