My chihuahua mix is weak and won't eat or drink. Should I see a vet?

Hi, I have a small chihuaha mixed. She is 2 yeras I dont know what is her weight. But she hasn't been wanting to eat or drink any fluids since Monday and she has been weak. Should I be concerned

Sophie is adorable. I am concerned that she doesn't want to eat or drink and is lethargic. I actually would recommend taking Sophie to a veterinarian to have her evaluated. This might be something simple as an intestinal upset but it can also be something like pancreatitis. Your veterinarian can perform diagnostics to try to figure out what is going on but then can dispense medication to help Sophie feel much better. If she has pancreatitis they may want to keep her and give her IV fluids to help hydrate her. Thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach.
