My dog tried to eat a cactus we don't know weather she did or not. She refuses to drink or to eat. What must we do?

I'm very concerned that Dogz is not eating or drinking. If she did eat some cactus then this would be very irritating to the esophagus and stomach. Dogz should be seen by a veterinarian right away as she likely needs medication and supportive care. If she ate a large enough portion of cactus she may X-rays to determine if any needs to be removed surgically. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and I hope Dogz is on the mend soon!
