My puppy has an intestinal infection and is too weak to stand. What now?

my puppy is two and half months old.....from last 4 days he is not eating anything neither drinking water. i went to a vet and they gave drips and its been 2 days given drips...tge doctor said he is having intestinal infection.....now the puppy is too weak.....extremely weak...he cant even stand and sleeps all day....what should i do???? please suggest immediately.... I'm sorry to hear that Coco is so sick! It sounds like he really needs to go back to the veterinarian. He should have blood work and X-rays done to see if there is any other issues going on. If he has an intestinal infection he will likely need to be placed back on fluids and injectable antibiotics. I'm concerned that if he doesn't receive additional treatment soon he may pass away. Unfortunately with Coco being so sick there is not much that you can do at home. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and I'm wishing Coco a speedy recovery!
