Dog throws up water after drinking. Should I take him back to vet?

Question

After every time my dog drinks water he throws up huge puddle of it. I took him to the vet for it already should we go back? Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | neutered | 1 year and 8 months old | 70 lbs

I am so sorry this is happening to Gibby. I am sure it is very upsetting for you. It is possible he is simply drinking too much too fast, and I would try limiting how much he can have in one go. Or perhaps try using a water bottle dispenser which limits how much he can intake at once. It is also possible that there is a medical or structural cause of the issue and I would agree it is worth taking him back to the veterinarian for a re-examination to be on the safe side.
