My dog's paws are swollen, oozing lumps, and he's in pain. Help!

hello my dog has all 4 feet are swollen with lumps 2-3 inches in size between each nail & they are red with lumps that ooze out. im finding hair follicles in clumps stuck inside the affected area and have pulled out many and squeezed the paw & the clumps of hair squeeze out like a pimple would. hes on anti biotics most of the time and i soak his feet daily in salt water but now his feet are getting so bad he cant walk & his nails have ooze coming out around the sides. hes really hurting BADLY =(. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | unneutered | 9 years and 3 months old | 130 lbs

You need to get him back to your vet for an exam. If he is on antibiotics it sounds like they are not working. He may need to be switched to a different class of antibiotic or he may need a combination of antibiotics. The vet should also be able to give you some pain medication/anti-inflammatories to give him to make him feel better. I suggest that you DO NOT give him any over the counter medications. Just continue to soak his feet in Epsom Salts - 10 minutes 2-3 times per day and get him back to your vet as soon as you can.
