Yes you can use pet formulated fish oils to help with dry skin in general. Also a high quality dog food such as Royal Canin skin support, Eukanuba, or Evo can also help. I would also recommend a conditioner from your local vet that you can spray him with in between baths. The shampoo you have it the best thing to do and once you do it twice weekly for 3 consecutive weeks or so, you won’t have to do it so often. I hope this helps. Best wishes and take care.

Persistent dandruff can be a sign of a medical condition like hypothyroidism, hyperadrenocorticism or nutritional deficiency. It's best to make sure that Caleb gets check-out by a vet sometime soon, so they can identify the cause of the dandruff. Without knowing the cause, you will not be able to effectively treat the condition and it will be a continual battle. The shampoos you have are good for dandruff and can be used in the meantime. I recommend washing with the medicated shampoo for at-least 15 minutes, then Douxo mousse. Another thing that may help is the addition of fish oil to the food. You can add one capsule to the food twice a day. I hope that helps and Caleb gets better soon.
