My parakeet is losing feathers. Is it sick or just molting?

my parakeet starts to lose its feather the last couple of days. Would that mean it is sick? Pet's info: Bird | Unknown - Bird | Female

This could just be normal molting or shedding of old feathers to grow in new ones. If new feathers aren’t coming in (usually seen as pin feathers) then there could be a problem.
