Pet's info: Cat | Siamese | Male | neutered | 2 years and 1 month old
2 days ago my cat was vomiting but eating, acting, drinking, pooing as normal. He hasn't vomited since yesterday morning. Today I took him to the vet and they said they didn't feel anything and he didn't seem hurt or tender at all. They gave him an injection for the sickness and Ranitidine to give him for 5 days. I am really worried and was wondering what are the chances that it is something serious? Would it be serious even though they didn't feel anything, if he isn't in pain, playing etc

Vomiting in young cats can be caused by many things including eating something that is stuck in the intestines, metabolic disorders, parasites, viral bugs, and eating something that they shouldn't have. It's a good sign that Diggie is eating and acting normal and that he hasn't vomited in the last 24 hours. I think the veterinarian's treatment plan sound very reasonable. If he start vomiting again or has problems with his energy or appetite, I would recommend scheduling another appointment for more testing (possible x-rays and some bloodwork). I hope Diggie keeps feeling better!
