My 13 yo dog has completely lost her vision quickly in less than a year and her eyes are cloudy. Can her vision possibly be restored to any degree?

If her eyes are cloudy due to cataracts, then there is surgery to remove the cataracts that will restore her vision. There are a couple of products on the market (like OcuGlo) that can be used to slow the progression of cataracts, but it will not work to reverse cataract formation. Dogs can also get a clouding of the lens that does not obstruct vision and cause vision loss, so the vision loss may be due to something else. I would recommend having your veterinarian evaluate your dog to see what the possible cause of vision loss is so you can discuss your options. Good luck! I hope that was helpful.
