My new rescue cat won't eat and sleeps a lot. Is he sick?

So, i got this cat a week or two ago, i found him on the road and took him home. He met my other cat and the bond together. He ate normally but now he stopped eating and sleeps mos of the time. Could it be a trauma because he was very close to death. Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | unneutered | 2 months and 17 days old

It sounds like your cat needs to be examined by a veterinarian so they can determine what exactly is going on. It may be related to his previous trauma but it is difficult to say. Younger kittens frequently have intestinal parasites so this could be part of the problem as well. If you kitten goes for more than 3 days without eating, you should take him in to be examined.
