Hi there, I just got a 9 week old Siberian/Retriver and we've noticed his stool is really loose, not diaherra just really soft. I'm wondering if this could be from the food? .. he is currently on Purina Puppy Chow, but i'm hoping to change him to Blue Wilderness as I have heard good things. I'm wondering if this will help with his loose stool issue, or if it is something more serious?

The loose stool could be from his diet, parasites, infection, or something he ate. Your vet can test a stool sample for parasites and then prescribe a dewormer, if needed. You could also add a probiotic, Fortiflora or Proviable to his food and see if that helps. Blue Wilderness is a good high quality food so changing to that might help, too. You should gradually change food by mixing his old food in with the new as abrupt diet change can cause vomiting and diarrhea.
