Pet's info: Dog | Yorkshire Terrier | Male | unneutered | 7 months and 17 days old | 8 lbs
We brought our dog back from the groomer Saturday evening and noticed a black patch on his scrotum that we don't think was there before. He hasn't been kicking the area and it doesn't seem to bother him too much. I'm just concerned it might be epididymitis or something along those lines. He is an 8 month old Yorkie, 8lbs.

From the pictures this looks like normal pigmentation but of course I cannot say hat for sure without doing my own exam. If the skin is smooth, not flakey, and the testicles don’t feel hard or painful then this is likely normal. If there is anything that’s looks abnormal or you aren’t sure then I would have your vet take a peek just to make sure. Epididymitis usually causes a testicle to swell and become hard. I hope this helps!
