Hi. Our 5 month old male shih tzu / dachshund mix is experiencing what seems to be sudden total lack of balance. Hes tilting over, wobbling when he stands. He's very lethargic, seems confused/ afraid of us. Very abnormal behavior for him. He's a very friendly outgoing puppy. This all happened within an hour. He's also refusing to eat or drink. He's taken out on a leash; never left outside alone.

His symptoms seem very concerning and urgent. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by a veterinarian as soon as possible. Low blood glucose or liver problems in addition to possible intoxication are all possibilities. Please have him evaluated immediately as I worry this problem could be potentially fatal. Best of luck and I hope he improves quickly.
