My dog has a rash with scabs and hair loss. Shampoos aren't working.

My dog has developed a really bad rash over his body it comes out in circles scabs and then loses his hair the rest of his skin is very flaky I've used medicated shampoos and antibacterial shampoos and nothing is working it's not contagious because my other dog does not have it

Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. Based on the pictures that you have provided and the description, I would suspect that this is a type of skin infection. Treating this topically with shampoos may not be the best course of treatment and an oral antibiotic may also be needed in addition to topical therapy. If you have not seen a veterinarian already, I would recommend having a vet examine this so that you can get the most appropriate treatment recommendation. The shampoo that I recommend the most and find the best success with is called Douxo PS chlorhexidine combination shampoo and bathe twice weekly until the infection is resolved. I I would also recommend starting welactin omega 3 fish oil and essential 6 spot on by dermoscent. I hope this helps guide you in the right direction.
