Pet's info: Dog | Cockapoo | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 10 days old | 8 lbs
My 6 mo old puppy is having a gurgling stomach along with some mucus at the end of her stools (ie the first stools are normal but then get softer and finally she has a mucus like clear liquid that comes out. I don’t see them but I’m thinking it’s possibly worms. Should I be taking her in for an exam or just worm her?

Mucus can be caused by many different things, including intestinal parasites, inflammation in the GI tract, eating something very greasy or oily, among a few other things. If there are any other symptoms of illness, such as lethargy, decreased appetite, vomiting, etc, then Lady should go to the vet. If she is otherwise normal, you can try the dewormer and keep a close on her for a few days.
