My dog is sore, slow, and can't jump. Is it hip or back pain?

4yr old dog possibly sore hip or back, constantly walking around the house looking lost, always yawning and lip licking, can't jump up , sways when standing, very slow, sometimes misplaces his footing, don't know of he breathes normally has no interest in playing. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 5 years and 9 months old

Poor guy. It certainly sounds like it could be back pain. Sometimes gentle massage can feel good, but he may be too painful for that. It sounds like he really should see a veterinarian to help define his problems and prescribe some dog safe pain medication for him. Best of luck and I hope he improves quickly.
