Why does my cat have tiny scabby bumps on her belly and near her tail?

My cat has tiny bumps that feel like scabs on her belly and not on her tail, but on the top of her back right next to her tail, i cant do pictures because its mostly hidden. Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 5 years and 3 months old | 7 lbs

It sounds like she may have something called miliary dermatitis. This is usually a skin infection, but can also be caused by fleas. Look real closely for any signs of fleas. She should also be seen by her veterinarian to see if she needs antibiotics. Best of luck and thank you for using Pet Coach.
