My budgie's foot keeps sliding. Why is she having trouble grasping?

My albino budgie’s right foot keeps sliding out when she just perched on her perch or my finger.

You might want to check to see if Cookie is having the same issue on a flatter or larger perch. It could be that she's having trouble grasping on a perch that is too small (including your finger), and a flatter surface may be easier for her to rest comfortably on. If she seems unable to grasp with the foot at all, the issue is worsening, or you see other signs of illness or problem with the leg, having a vet take a look is best to rule out issues such as injury, illness, nutritional deficiency or neurologic issues.
